A secret BILDERBERG CONFERENCE took place in King City, Ontario, outside
Toronto, Canada between 30 May 1996 and 2 June 1996. It was hosted by media magnate Conrad
Black.
Just to situate this secret world-elite meeting, it took place only a few months after the failed attempt to split
up Canada in the 1995 Québec referendum.
In his 1967 book,The New Unhappy Lords: An Exposure of Power Politics, British author A.K. Chesterton said
that "Men pursuing purposes which will bear the light of day do not hold secret meetings in different parts of the world."
N.B.: Bilderberg annual secret meetings have been held 4 times in Canada:
1. 21-23 April 1961: St Castin, Canada
2. 26-28 April 1968: Mont Tremblant, Canada
3. 13-15 May 1983: Montebello, Canada
4. 30 May -1 June 1996: Toronto, Canada (King City)
